Dog Show handler Philip Boyce lost two of his beloved dogs and many belongings, in a house fire that destroyed his house on the evening of Monday July 22. The home is currently uninhabitable. An online fundraiser has been organized by Hal Biermann to help cover expenses during this difficult time. Philip has been a valuable part of the ShowSight family for years – both as a contributor and distributor. We're all devastated to hear this heartbreaking news. Our thoughts and prayers are with him, his dogs and his close friends and family.

On his Facebook page, Philip released the following statement:
I lost my Cody Blue and Sexi Lexi tonight in a house fire. The house is destroyed. A complete loss. I got home just in time to save the other 5 dogs in the house. Zoe Painter Buck Red and Tia are all safe and cleared by my vet.
I am completely devastated. Words can’t even express how I feel. The vets office cleaned up up Cody and Lexi (no burns just smoke) and let me lay with them to say goodbye. I am so grateful to VCA Dunmore Animal Hospital for everything they did. Coming to the house, taking Cody and Lexi for me and giving me the time to say goodby. I am heartbroken. I will do a separate post about Cody and Lexi when I can… I’m in tears.
The fire department (20 plus trucks) had to cut the house as the fire kept restarting.
I will be at the shows this week in Bloomsburg. Staying here is not going to help anything. Aaron is on his way to the house and all my neighbors and clients have offered everything including their kitchen sink… I am grateful for the out poor of support on Facebook it means a lot.
I will be call insurance company and take the lead tomorrow. See you all in Bloomsburg if you are going. LOVE YOU ALL! Thank you.
