NEW YORK, NY – The American Kennel Club is pleased to announce that Lynn Meyer has been hired as an Executive Field Representative. She joins the staff on July 16, 2018 and will be based in the upper mid-west.
“Lynn brings an abundance of experience to the position of Executive Field Representative, with many successful decades in the sport as a breeder, owner handler and professional handler,” said Patricia Proctor, Field Director, Conformation. “The American Kennel Club is proud to welcome her to the staff.”
Meyer has over 30 years of experience in breeding and exhibiting dogs and is a 3rd generation dog show enthusiast. She is also a member of the Tibetan Terrier Club of America and is an AKC Breeder Of Merit. She has participated in Obedience, Rally and Fast Cat. She has an extensive knowledge of a wide variety of breeds in all seven groups. She has spent the majority of her career handling highly successful show dogs and maintaining the health and welfare of the dogs in her care at her boarding kennel.
