New York, NY- The American Kennel Club (AKC®) is excited to announce the winners of the 2022 AKC Agility Dog Premier Cup, brought to you by presenting and official sponsors The Farmer’s Dog and YuMOVE. This invitational event was held on July 9, 2022 at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, OH.

“This year’s Agility Dog Premier Cup was a thrilling event to watch, and we’re glad that the ESPN broadcast shared the excitement of the sport with a large audience,” said Doug Ljungren, Executive Vice President of Sports & Events. “The competition was fierce, and we’d like to congratulate the winners and all of the participants.”

All the action was aired on ESPN2 on July 23, and champions were announced in each of the five height divisions (8″, 12″, 16″, 20″, and 24″).

 

The 2022 AKC Agility Dog Premier Cup Winners:

Placing first in their height division (8″, 12″, 16″, 20″ and 24” respectively) were:

8”: MACH3 Pasun’s See U At The Finish Line MXC MJB2, a Papillon known as “Finn,” handled by Jesse Westover of North Braddock, PA.

 

12”: MACH Trinity Run Like You Stole It MXS MJS OF, a Shetland Sheepdog known as “Swindle,” handled by Abigail Beasley of Centerburg, OH

 

16”: MACH4 PACH Bare Cove On A Roll RN MXC PAD MJB2 MXPB MJP3 MJPB PAX XF, a Shetland Sheepdog known as “Lucky,” handled by Jennifer Crank of Pickerington, OH

 

20”: NAC Pride Creek’s Now We’Re Talking MX MXJ MJB, a Border Collie known as “Hallelujah,” handled by Jessica Ajoux of Wyncote, PA

 

24”: Offon A Bit Of Attitude With Ontarget MX MXB MXJ MJB XF, a Border Collie known as “Vex,” handled by Rachel Evers of Mequon, WI.
