The American Kennel Club Crowns 2022 National Agility Championship

 

New York, NY – The top Agility dogs in the nation were crowned from an overall combined entry of more than 1,300 competitors at the AKC National Agility Championship, brought to you by presenting and official sponsors YuMOVE and The Farmer’s Dog. The high energy competition was held April 1 – 3 at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, FL.

It was so exciting to see all the competitors come out this year and show off their skills,” said Carrie DeYoung, Director of Agility. “These canine athletes are the best of the best in the sport, and we’re proud to celebrate them and their talented handlers.

 

The 2022 Winners:

 

AKC National Agility Champions

Placing first in their height division (8″, 12″, 16″, 20″, 24” and 24C” respectively) were:

8”: NAC MACH4 Aerilee’s Songbird MXC PAD MJB2 PJD DCAT, a Papillon known as “Lark,” handled by Betsey Lynch of Delaware, OH

 12”: MACH Scene Stealer Shak-A New World MXS MJB, a Shetland Sheepdog known as “Rio,” handled by Jennifer Crank of Fairborn, OH

16”: MACH Rival’s Spark In My Heart At Livewire MXB MJB DS, a Border Collie known as “Little Sparkle,” handled by Tawni Millet of Christiana, TN

20”: NAC Pride Creek’s Now We’Re Talking MX MXJ MJB, a Border Collie known as “Hallelujah,” handled by Jessica Ajoux of Wyncote, PA
