New York, NY – The American Kennel Club (AKC), the world’s largest purebred dog registry and governing body of dog sports, is thrilled to announce two exciting canine competitions coming to ESPN2 this Christmas Day starting at 2:30pm ET. The programming will kick off with the AKC Agility Invitational presented by YuMOVE® and will be followed by the AKC Disc Dog Challenge presented by The Farmer’s Dog.

The AKC Agility Invitational took place at the Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL on December 17th and 18th, 2022. The AKC Disc Dog Challenge saw top teams competing in disc dog games at Atrium Health Ballpark in Kannapolis, NC on November 12th, 2022.

The dogs featured in this programming demonstrate outstanding athletic abilities and emphasize the importance of the human-canine bond,” says Gina DiNardo, AKC Executive Secretary. “We are excited to be able to bring these canine sports to viewers this Christmas Day.”

Mark your calendars now for Christmas Day at 2:30pm ET to tune in the AKC Agility Invitational presented by YuMOVE®, followed at 4:30pm ET by the AKC Disc Dog Challenge presented by The Farmer’s Dog, both on ESPN2. Check your local listings for channel information.
