I live in the Shenandoah Valley near the Blue Ridge Mountains. I’ve bred, raised, and shown Pekingese on a small scale since the early 1970s under the Shenblu prefix. Since I didn’t, and couldn’t, sell my dogs, I usually only bred a litter when I wanted something to show. Needless to say, I loved them all so much that I couldn’t part with them.

Learn how Pekingese are judged in the ring, from physical examination to movement, with insights on breed standards and evaluation.
