Faye Strauss established Sherluck Dobermans in 1973 and bred 100 AKC Champions. Many Sherluck Dobermans were top winners and producers including Top winning Dobermans and a DPCA Grand Prize Futurity winner Faye owned the DPCA Top Producing Bitch of the Year 9 times and was DPCA Breeder of the Year 3 times. As a handler, Faye finished 65 Doberman Pinschers and garnered numerous Best in Show and Group wins. Faye also handled 15 other breeds in addition to Dobermans. As an AKC judge, Faye is approved for the Working, Non Sporting and Sporting Groups and Beagle, Dachshunds, Old English Sheepdogs and Pembroke Welsh Corgis. She has been honored to judge Doberman nationals in the US, Argentina, Australia, Brazil and Canada and to judge at the Westminster Kennel Club show. In 1995, Faye founded Sherluck MultiMedia that produced CD Breed Studies on 13 breeds in addition to Dobermans. Faye's book on `The Doberman Pinscher' (TFH pub) was awarded Breed Book of the Year; 1998. Faye is also the AKC Gazette columnist for the Doberman Pinscher Club of America. Faye has given seminars for many organizations including the American Kennel Club Judges Institute. Faye is Chairman of DPCA Judges Education Committee, and is currently President to the Mount Rainier Working Dog Club and Puget Sound Doberman Pinscher Club.
