Ms. Donna Beckman

Donna Beckman has been an owner/exhibitor/breeder of Siberian Huskies for nearly 50 years. She has served the Siberian Husky Club of America, Inc. in many elected and appointed capacities, including President, Treasurer, Show Chairman, Newsletter Editor, and AKC Delegate. Currently, she is SHCA Judges’ Education Chairman. In 2012, she was honored by SHCA as the recipient of the Peggy Grant Award for Lifetime Service to the Club and the Breed, and in 2014, she was named a Life Member of SHCA. Donna is co-breeder and/or co-owner of many champions, as well as multiple Best in Show, Group-winning, Group-placing, and highly ranked Siberian Huskies in the US and several other countries, including a 32-time US Best-in-Show winner, two SHCA Top-20 winners, Best of Breed and Award winners at Westminster and the AKC National Championship, and Best of Breed and Award of Merit winners at SHCA’s National Specialty. She is the author of a book on the Siberian. Donna judges the Working Group, and has judged the SHCA National Specialty twice, as well as having judged and educated fanciers and judges on four continents. She currently serves as Treasurer-Trustee of the SHCA Trust, a public charity funding education, health, and rescue efforts benefitting the Siberian.
