MIFred Buroff is a dog show judge based in Midland, MI. 4 judged shows.
Fred Buroff started showing in Obedience in 1979 with his male Border Collie, "Patches," and obtained his CDX title. After his Border Collie, he then trained a male and female Doberman Pinscher to Utility. After his Dobermans, he then titled three more Border Collies, one Golden Retriever, and a male German Shepherd Dog also through Utility. His German Shepherd also obtained his Rally Excellent title. Fred also recently put a Rally Excellent title, a Beginner Novice Title, CD, and a Graduate Novice Title on an Italian Greyhound. Over the years, he has trained four Utility dogs, two others to a CDX, and two others to a CD. He recently trained and showed a female Briard, who he just completed her Beginner Novice, Novice, and Preferred Novice Obedience titles on. He also added the Rally Novice B and an Intermediate title... Since 1989, he has taught various levels of Obedience classes at both Stone City Kennel club (for over 14 years) and Obedient Dog Training Club in New Lenox, Illinois (for over 25 years). Fred has been judging all levels of AKC Obedience since 1988. He was approved to become an AKC Rally judge when AKC started the venue in 2005.
