Mrs. Jodi Koon

I grew up on a beef farm in East Tennessee and began my time in the ring showing cattle. Dogs have always been a big part of my life. My parents raised Field Trial Beagles, and over the years I've owned many breeds. My AKC ring experience began when our youngest daughter owned and showed a Dalmatian in Juniors and we became interested in Conformation. My husband, Dominic Koon, also a judge #115351, brought Boston Terriers into our life and it was love at first sight. We breed and show Boston Terriers under the registered kennel name "QB Bostons" and frequently partner with "Hickory Hill Bostons." We were mentored by longtime breeders and have applied their insight to our breeding program to include over 50 champions, including one Best in Show and many Non-Sporting Group winners. I am passionate about educating people about the Boston Terrier Breed Standard and helping people understand the breed and how to judge them.
