Macarena Pantaleón Hernandez FCI license Nº CL23 AKC Judge's Number: 117450 CACIB-approved judge for Group 2 FCI, Group 6 FCI, and Group 5 FCI. National Judge for Australian Shepard, Belgian Shepard Malinois, and Welsh Corgi Pembroke Breeds. KCC Specialist Judge for the Beagle Breed. Veterinarian Breeds Bred: Beagle and Golden Retriever Kennel Affix: Fetch&Smell Languages: Spanish and English Her involvement with animals began at the age of seven through show jumping, a passion that later led her to study Veterinary Medicine. During university, she discovered the world of Assistance and Therapy Dogs and became an Assistance Dog Trainer. Around that time, she acquired a Beagle and a Golden Retriever, the foundation of her Fetch&Smell kennel, and began exhibiting in Kennel Club de Chile dog shows. Over the years, she has achieved numerous Breed, Group, and Best in Show wins in Chile and abroad, including the United States, Argentina, Bolivia, and Italy. She has bred and owned multiple Champions, Grand Champions, World Winners, and FCI Americas & Caribbean Section Winners. She is a member of the National Beagle Club of America and has attended its annual Specialties continuously since 2011, achieving notable results, including 13-inch Best of Variety and BOSS at the 2024 National Specialty. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Kennel Club of Chile since 2017, first as Treasurer (2017–2021) and as President since 2021. Since 2023, she has been a member of the FCI Show Commission, serving as Vice President since 2024 and reelected for the 2026–2028 term. She has also been a member of the FCI Breeding Commission since 2024. She has had the honor of judging in Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Panama, Peru, Russia, the United States, and Uruguay for all-breed shows (including the SICALAM shows) and Specialty shows. She has lectured in the Kennel Club of Chile’s Basic Cynology Program, teaching Anatomy in 2023 and 2025 and Rules and Ethics in 2025. She has also presented Beagle seminars for SICALAM judges and the Slovakian Cynological Union (SKJ).
