Patricia Lanctot My husband, Mike, and I have been breeding Labrador Retrievers under the Ebonylane prefix since 1974. We have produced multiple BIS, BISS winners as well as HIT winners, Seeing Eye dogs, and dogs used in Search and Rescue. Ebonylane breeding can be found in the background of many prominent kennels today. We are delighted to have generations of families who have had Ebonylane puppies join their family.

We are founding members of the Labrador Retriever Club of Canada, Atlantic Labrador Retriever Club, Atlantic Judges Association, and St. Lawrence Region Dog Judges Association, and have held executive positions in many other clubs over the years.

In 2022 we were awarded the first Lifetime Achievement Award from the Labrador Retriever Club of Canada for our contributions to the breed.

I have been judging since 1994 and am currently licensed to judge All Breeds. I have judged Labrador Specialties around the world, and All-Breed shows in Canada, United States, Argentina, Australia, Bahamas, Bermuda, Brazil, Chili, China, Columbia, Holland, Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, and Thailand.
