Mr. Timothy S. Robbins

Timothy (Tim) Robbins bred his first litter of AKC registered Dalmatians in 1968, and finished his first homebred champion, owner-handled, in 1970. At about the same time, the Baytown Kennel Club was being formed, and Tim became a club member in 1968. He is still a member today. Tim has been club President and the Show Chairman for the past 10 years.

Tim graduated in 1971 from the University of Houston, and eventually landed a job with ExxonMobil Chemicals where he worked for 32 years before retirement. During all those years, Tim continued to breed Dalmatians. One is his liver females became the top-producing Dalmatian dam in breed history, with 18 AKC champion get to her credit.

In 1990, Tim started judging. He was originally approved for five breeds; Dalmatians, Keeshonden, IGs, Pomeranians, and Lhasa Apsos. He is now approved to judge the Hound, Toy, and Non-Sporting Groups, plus a few Working breeds.
