About
My journey in the world of Shih Tzu began in 2016 with a passion, a vision, and a determination to learn everything I could about the breed and the sport of AKC exhibition. What began with grit and a willingness to learn has grown into a deeply rewarding commitment to responsible breeding, preservation, and the pursuit of excellence. As a relatively new exhibitor and breeder, I have approached this journey with an open mind and an unwavering desire to improve. I have immersed myself in every aspect of the sport—from studying pedigrees and bloodlines, understanding the science and principles behind thoughtful breeding decisions, and developing the skills required to properly groom and condition my dogs, to learning how to present them confidently in the show ring as an owner-handler. One of the greatest gifts of this journey has been the opportunity to learn from those who have dedicated decades to the sport. Mentorship from veteran breeders, professional handlers, and judge-breeders has given me invaluable insight that cannot be learned from a book alone. Their guidance has helped me develop a deeper understanding of structure, breed type, movement, pedigrees, genetics, and the many considerations that go into planning the next generation. My growth as an owner-handler has also led me to build relationships with exceptional professional handlers who have generously shared their knowledge and mentored me behind the scenes. From helping me evaluate and select future prospects to offering guidance on presentation and development, these relationships have played an important role in shaping the direction of my breeding program. Every puppy I bring to the show table represents far more than a dog in a ring. Each one reflects countless hours of research, learning, grooming, evaluation, collaboration, and thoughtful decision-making. I am incredibly grateful for the established breeders, handlers, mentors, and judge-breeders who have contributed their knowledge and experience along the way. This has been a journey built on passion, perseverance, education, and an ongoing commitment to improvement. I remain a student of the breed and the sport, continually learning from those around me while working toward a breeding program that honors the Shih Tzu, respects its history, and thoughtfully looks toward its future.

The Shih Tzu, known originally as the "Lion Dog" in Chinese royal circles, is an ancient breed that epitomizes a curious combination of affection and arrogance. This lively little dog, with its luxurious coat and colorful character, is renowned for its warm, expressive eyes and friendly, outgoing personality. A colorful canine companion in a small yet sturdy package, the Shih Tzu has long been a popular choice in households where the breed's considerable charms are appreciated and allowed to flourish.
