Rip is the grandson of the first AKC Platinum Grand Champion MBISS, RBIS, GCHP Zilya's Chicago Fusion and Runes, CGC, TT, RN and the son of the first Best in Show Winning Black Russian Terrier Bitch, GCHG Midnight Rider's Black Denim Trousers, TT. He is a 5th generation of OFA passing Black Russian Terriers with full health clearances. Rip is a triple crown winner...having won Best of Breed at the BRTCA National, The AKC National Championship and the Westminster Kennel Club. He was Number 1 Black Russian Terrier in the country in Breed Competition in 2025 and has been the number 1 through August of 2026. Frozen semen is available to qualifying bitches.

The Black Russian Terrier (BRT) is a large and robust working breed developed in the former Soviet Union for military and guard work. Known for its intelligence, courage, and loyalty, the breed excels in protection roles and thrives only in a home with an experienced handler who can meet the dog’s physical and mental needs. The Black Russian Terrier, also known as the "Black Pearl of Russia," was developed in the 1940s and ‘50s by the Red Star Kennel, a Soviet military program aimed at creating a versatile working dog.
