The 2026 Bracco Italiano National Specialty marked Bog’s first weekend out as a Special after completing his AKC Championship in February with the help of Ryan Wolfe and Nikki Ryan. After spending the past couple of years working hard to finish his championship through small entries and steep learning curves, I was excited to bring him to the National and enjoy the experience together. Instead, Bog exceeded all expectations. At the 2026 Bracco Italiano National Specialty, he made the cut and earned OHBOB under Judge Mr. Ger Philpott. Then, at the afternoon Parent Club Specialty, he earned BISS under Judge Dr. Vicki Sandage. This unforgettable weekend marked the beginning of an exciting year for Bog in the AKC ring. He has also been active in UKC and IABCA over the last couple of years, earning championships in both venues along with a variety of Group placements. In June, Bog added another exciting accomplishment to his record by earning UKC Best in Show. Outside of the show ring, Bog continues to prove his versatility in the field, having earned a NAVHDA Natural Ability Prize I (112) & AKC Junior Hunter title. While his accomplishments have exceeded our expectations, what makes Bog truly special is the dog he is at home. He keeps us laughing every day with his personality & goofy antics. We are incredibly proud of everything he has accomplished so far and excited to see what adventures are still ahead for Team Bog.
