It is always an honor to judge at the National Dog Show. This is my second or third time and each time has been better than the one before. The hospitality is above and beyond, and was very much appreciated.
Although I only judged a handful of breeds, I did enjoy a good-sized entry in some of the normally low entry breeds. The Bracchi Italiani depth of quality comes to mind immediately.
Any thoughts on the year ahead? This past year has been a return to somewhat normal for us. Front of mind for me, for at least the near future, is the recent outbreak of the canine respiratory illness. Everyone, please stay vigilant!
