Dr. Linda M. Fowler: I was honored to receive the invitation to judge at such a prestigious show and it certainly lived up to its reputation. The assignment was a delightful experience due to the outstanding efforts of the Kennel Club of Philadelphia.
Dr. Linda M. Fowler: I judged a number of Working breeds, including lovely dogs with multi-level championships; some of the top dogs in the country. Having judged all of these breeds for a number of years, I felt that most have improved their quality. However, I was a bit disappointed that the class entries were quite small. I always enjoy seeing the “up and comers,” which are the future of our sport.
Dr. Linda M. Fowler: 2024 has, as usual, produced some outstanding show dogs! I have hopes that the fancy will continue to thrive and perhaps even grow to be more inclusive for all exhibitors.
