Robyn Salisbury: My Westminster Story
Iโve always watched the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show as a dog-obsessed kid, but this year I was an exhibitor and got to โrepresentโ at Westminster.
The plan was for my parents and sisters to be there with me and my Cane Corso, โBishop.โ My Dad would ask, โSo, when we going to Westminster?โ SIR, as soon as we get his Championshipโฆ we will be there!
Ch. Difesa Bish Donโt Kill My Vibe CGC STR earned his first point in 2022. We earned his Championship title in July 2025 after traveling many states awayโKentucky, North Carolina, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Massachusettsโand this year we competed at Westminster as an Owner-Handler!

Iโve been at the local shows before, up against the pros and longtime Corso breeders/owners/handlers. Theyโre always pleasant, and before we go in the ring I try to always say, โGood luck today.โ
At Westminster, I was focused and calm. This was a new experience for Bishop, and I wanted him to feel comfortable with me, to make sure my nerves didnโt travel down the lead.
I told him the night before, โNo matter what happens, weโre winners and weโve earned our spot to be here.โ
