The Samoyed, affectionately known as the "Sammy," is renowned for its amiable demeanor, striking white coat, and unmistakable smile. Originating from the harsh, cold environments of Siberia, this double-coated dog was historically bred by the Samoyedic people for herding reindeer, hunting, and hauling sleds. Its plush coat not only serves as protection against cold temperatures, it is also a hallmark of the breed.
