Border Terrier

The Border Terrier is a true working terrier, built to function both above and below ground. The breed’s physical and mental characteristics support its historical use as a hunter of vermin, badger, otter, and fox. Although the Border does not strongly resemble most other terrier breeds, this good-natured companion is as “game as they come.” The breed’s signature “otter head” is a distinctive breed feature, but it is only one of many.
