BISS RBIS GCH Illuminate a Scandalous Rumor at Briggcastle aka "Bentley" has had an amazing show career since he first stepped into the ring as a puppy winning his first point by going Best of Breed from the classes. He finished his AKC Championship by going Best of Breed from the classes for a 4-point major over Specials. He finished his Grand Championship shortly thereafter by winning the Harrier Club of America Regional Specialty at Morris & Essex. At the young age of 3 years old he has won a couple of groups and RBIS and is currently the #1 male Harrier in the US with 72 Best of Breed wins out of 73 shows.

I have been involved with Harriers since 1996 as a breeder/owner/handler. I have bred many AKC Champions, won a few specialties, chaired a few National Specialties and served more than 8 years on the Board of the Parent Club Harrier Club of America.
Breed
The Harrier is a medium-sized breed of hound known for its agility, endurance, and keen sense of smell. Often mistaken for a large Beagle or a small English Foxhound , Harriers have a long history as pack hunters of hares. Their cheerful and outgoing temperament makes them not only exceptional hunters but also delightful companions in the right situation. The Harrier's roots were established in the British Isles where the breed's history is aligned with Great Britain's hunting traditions .
