About
Nessie started showing in BPUP in July 2025, and finished her Championship at 11 months old in December 2025. With the addition of her amazing young co-owner in March 2026, Nessie continued to shine, including her first BOB in June 2026, over several specials, to complete her GCH at 17 months. She has had several NOHS group placements, and her first ‘regular’ group placement in June 2026. The future is bright for her, and we are all looking forward to seeing her shine. She has three amazing owners, and an incredibly supportive group of ‘dog show aunties’ behind her! Health testing is scheduled for early 2026, once she turns two.

I started showing in late 2020 - showed once in 2019, said I’d never do it again - well that wasn’t true! Showed my now veteran Rottweiler, Jameson, to #5 NOHS in 2024 and he is currently enjoying life as big brother to Nessie. I am a veterinary receptionist with an amazing boss who is very accommodating to my crazy time off requests, and coworkers that are equally supportive.
Breed
The Rottweiler is a large, muscular canine known for its strength, agility, and unwavering loyalty. Originating in Germany, the breed was used as a herding dog and draft animal, pulling carts to market. The Rottweiler is now popular as a steadfast family companion and devoted working dog. Rotties, as they are affectionately called by their friend, are calm and confident dogs with a “wait and see” attitude when it comes to assessing any situation.
