I’m a second-gen breeder/exhibitor and one of my earliest memories is of being flattened by a double-handler at a GSD specialty somewhere in the mid-Atlantic. I was four. I grew up with GSDs and a variety of Poodles and terriers. I love all dogs but found Cavaliers in 1998 and have had them ever since, becoming a BOM and having some excellent dogs over the years despite having a very small program. More recently I fell for Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonki—what a great little breed. They look like they’ve been pulled through a bush backwards but I promise you there are very smart, capable, sweet, agile dogs under all that coat. I was fortunate enough to be entrusted with a couple of good ones and am very smitten. Kasper’s handful of outings include a good Open Dog class win at his first national and both Majors (one from a Group placement from the classes).
