GCHP NAKOA TALISKER

A moderate, true-to-type Cairn Terrier, Tali is balanced in structure and gait with no exaggeration. He has a lovely head and expression, excellent coat texture, strong forechest and shoulder, short hocks, and correct proportions of 1:1.5 height to length. His movement is clean coming, going, and side gait. With a lovely temperament, he greets every judge with a wagging tail and is a natural showman who loves the ring. Born on the Big Island of Hawaii, Tali began limited showing at 6 months and finished his CH at 10 months with two 5-point majors at the 2022 NorCal Cairn Terrier Specialty. In 2023, Tali earned an RBIS and, with limited showings, finished the year as the #6 Cairn Terrier Breed with 52 Best of Breeds and multiple Group placements. He also earned his GCH, GCHB, GCHS, and GCHG titles. In 2024, Tali earned an RBIS, won the Cairn Terrier Club of America Roving National Specialty, two NorCal Cairn Terrier Specialties, and the Columbia River Cairn Terrier Specialty in Clackamas. He also earned multiple Group wins and placements, received first AOM at Montgomery, and finished the year as the #1 Cairn Terrier Dog with 79 Best of Breeds. In 2025, Tali was awarded Best in Show and RBIS, won the Cairn Terrier Club of America Roving National Specialty, and earned wins at the Columbia River Cairn Terrier Specialty in Portland, Southern California Cairn Terrier Specialty, Northern California Cairn Terrier Specialty, and Columbia River Cairn Terrier Specialty in McMinnville. He also won Best of Breed at Westminster Kennel Club, captured the Supreme Specialty Challenge at Rose City Classic Portland, earned multiple Group wins and placements, and became GCHP. Tali ended 2025 as the #1 Cairn Terrier Breed, #2 Cairn Terrier All Breed, and #21 Terrier, despite limited showing late in the year, finishing with 116 Best of Breed wins. In 2026, Tali is being shown on a very limited basis. He has won BISS at the Columbia River Cairn Terrier Specialty in Portland, BISS at the Cairn Terrier Club of Detroit, BISS at the Columbia River Cairn Terrier Specialty in Hillsboro Oregon and went BOS at the Cairn Terrier Club of America National Specialty in Greeley Colorado..
