Pharaoh Hound

Pharaoh Hounds are smart, loving and friendly dogs, with playful and active personalities. They love to give chase to anything that moves, and hunting is a favorite pastime. For this reason, they cannot ever be trusted off leash. On their home island of Malta, the Pharaoh Hound is known as " Kelb tal-Fenek" which means "dog of the rabbit." The Pharaoh Hound is the national dog of Malta.
