Breed
The Basset Hound is a distinctive, short-legged breed of dog originating from France. Known for its sad expression, long ears, and impeccable scenting ability, the "Basset" is both a skilled hunting companion and a beloved family pet. The lineage of the Basset Hound traces back to ancient times, with its distant ancestors depicted in artwork from civilizations as old as the ancient Egyptians.
