Pamela Peat: Being invited to judge at Morris & Essex this year was a surprise, honor, and wonderful experience. To be asked to judge my own breed was inspiring.
Pamela Peat: The entry was from multiple countries and several different breeders. Consistency in quality and adherence to the AKC Affenpinscher Breed Standard let me make choices using my breed priorities. My winners were what I considered to be excellent Affens.
Pamela Peat: The reasons that I think M&E remains such a relevant event is that the dog community values history and remembers the wonderful days of the past. We love to gather and recreate history despite how dog shows have changed. Being able to recreate this event, thanks to the massive efforts of the committee and a few people involved, is awe-inspiring.
