Richard Reynolds is both proud and grateful for his appointment to judge working terriers at one of the top terrier shows in the country of origin of many terrier breeds. He was privileged to meet and evaluate so many dogs of the multiple breeds and their owners who preserve the working terrier ethic in the United Kingdom. Having stood in the center of the ring since 1981, it was perhaps his greatest honor to date. The trust and respect conveyed with this appointment is, like the terriers to be judged, more precious than gold. I am so deeply grateful to Gordon Bottomley and the members of the Fell & Moorland Working Terrier Club both for this show and the invaluable work that they do all year long.
