2. Can you share your thoughts on your Breed assignment? Please be specific.
Dr. Steven L. Keating: Judging the Parson Russell Terrier breed is always a rewarding experience. These dogs are known for their high energy, intelligence, and distinctive appearance. In my assignment, I focused on their overall balance, structure, and agility, as these specific traits are crucial for the original purpose of the Parson Russell Terrier breed as hunting dogs. I appreciated the breed’s versatility and spirited nature, which was reflected in their movement and temperament. It was important to see a well-defined head and a strong, compact body that enabled them efficiently. I looked for a lively expression that embodied their enthusiasm.
