Orlando, FL – The 2022 AKC National Owner-Handled Series (NOHS) Finals Best in Show honors went to GCHS CH Bramblebush Piper At The Gates Of Dawn, an Irish Setter known affectionately as “Declan” owned and handled by Cheryl L Stiehl DVM and bred by Cheryl L Stiehl DVM & Craig Larson.
The 2022 NOHS Finals Best in Show winner was crowned by judge Mr. Dominic Palleschi Carota after intense canine competition at the AKC National Championship Presented by Royal Canin, held on December 17th and 18th, 2022.
“We’re thrilled to congratulate this year’s winner of the AKC National Owner-Handled Series Finals,” said Guy Fisher, Manager, Club Development. “NOHS is a wonderful celebration of the skill and dedication of each owner-handler. It was a very exciting competition.”
The top ten owner-handled dogs (plus ties) in each breed from the 2022 qualifying period were invited to compete in the Finals, and the 827 competitors entered represented 200 different breeds/varieties.
GCHS CH Myla’s No Tan Lines, a Siberian Husky known as “Natalie” owned by Marie Falconer and bred by Ms. Marie Ann Falconer, Dr. Thomas M Davies, Harry Smith III.
After winning their Best of Breed competitions, the following top dogs went on to win in their respective groups and compete for AKC National Owner-Handled Series Best in Show:

GCHS CH Myla’s No Tan Lines, a Siberian Husky known as “Natalie” owned by Marie Falconer and bred by Ms. Marie Ann Falconer, Dr. Thomas M Davies, Harry Smith III.
GCHB CH Wyrlake Foxhollow Knightfall, a Wire Fox Terrier known as “Simon” owned by Dr Heaton, J. Carlson, S. Carter, C. Schlagel and bred by Amy Rodrigues, Susan Carter, Andrew DiGiorgio.
GCHS CH Dreamville King’s Ransom, a Pekingese known as “Ramsey” owned by Kay Canaan & Lori Stephen and bred by Dr. Raymundo W Lo.
GCHG CH Barbary’s Reigning Royalty CGCA TKN, a Chow Chow known as “Quin” owned by Ralph Silva and bred by Barbara D Becker.
GCHS CH Blue Elks Missing Piece TKN, a Miniature American Shepherd known as “Puzzle” owned by Allyson Senek & Gary Senek and bred by Allyson Senek.
