Luisa Leone: Oh, what a wonderful experience I had judging at Westminster Kennel Club—from the time I received my invitation to when I returned home. When I started judging, I dreamed of judging at Westminster Kennel Club. This year, it became a reality and I couldn’t be more humbled and honored to judge at the world’s most prestigious show.
Luisa Leone: What a thrill it was to walk into the different Breed rings and see exemplary dogs and bitches from which I could choose. When judging terriers, it is important to me that they move in a complete package with a good topline and good reach and drive. I expected to see the breed type characteristics of each breed; outline is important, head, ears, and expression. Presentation and conditioning on most exhibits were good to see.
Luisa Leone: Now that the 2023 Westminster Kennel Club show is in the books, I think that 2023 will be a very memorable year filled with exciting dogs to watch.
