What does it mean to be invited to judge at one of the most important dog shows in the world—Montgomery?

For Terrier people, Montgomery County is above all others. It is a great honor to be invited to judge this show.

Can I share my thoughts on my Breed assignment?

The breed that I was asked to judge was the Russell Terrier. There was an entry of 62. My Winners Dog was, I believe, an import and he was six years old. My breed dog, I understand, was also an import. I felt the quality was high within the classes and deep in the Best of Breed entry.

The future of the Terrier Breeds is bright in America. The depth of quality in the Group shows the dedication that breeders of Terriers have shown over the years. There is good cooperation among the breeders from all of the countries to improve their breed.
