Morris & Essex Kennel Club donates $10,000 to animal-related charities in Ukraine
With the terrible tragedy unfolding in Ukraine, the Morris & Essex Kennel Club has made donations to two certified, well-established organizations that care for pets in that war-torn nation.
The $10,000 donation will be split between:
Happy Paw – This long-standing Ukrainian animal-welfare organization works to protect the country’s homeless animals, providing shelters with money, food and supplies; helping owners find lost pets, and educating children on humane attitudes toward animals. Happy Paw is coordinating supply deliveries to more than 60 shelters across Ukraine to help feed and shelter animals caught in the crossfire.
Four Paws – This global animal-welfare organization runs a stray-animal care team throughout Ukraine and is providing Ukrainian shelters with supplies. It is also working at the borders with Romania and Moldova helping care for companion animals after they cross. Four Paws is offering bags of dog and cat food, pet carriers and pet beds, and is working on a pet and family reunification pilot program.

The thoughts and prayers of the Morris & Essex members are with the Ukrainian people and their animals.
Best Always,
Wayne
