2022 AKC Lifetime Achievement Award Winners

The 2022 AKC Lifetime Achievement Award Winners

In its endless pursuit to recognize outstanding members of the fancy, The American Kennel Club Lifetime Achievement Awards were created and first awarded in 1999 to honor our best. The purpose of the awards is to celebrate those individuals whose many years of dedication have led to significant contributions to our Sport on a national level.

The 2022 recipients were selected by votes cast by AKC Member Clubs for nominees in each of the following categories:

The American Kennel Club honors the winners of the AKC Lifetime Achievement Awards with an engraved silver revere bowl. A larger Tiffany & Co. bowl, engraved with the names of all recipients past and present, will remain on permanent display at the AKC Headquarters in New York City.

A special video presentation was created as a tribute to the 2022 AKC Lifetime Achievement Award winners.
