1. What does it mean to be invited to judge at the 2025 Morris & Essex Kennel Club All-Breed Dog Show, an unrivaled celebration of purebred dogs in America?

Christine Calcinari: I was so honored to be asked along with esteemed colleagues to be part of this tradition.

2. Can you share your thoughts on your Breed assignment(s)? Please be specific.

Christine Calcinari: Since I have many years owning, breeding, and exhibiting in the breeds that I judged, it was a comfort zone for me and I enjoyed it immensely.

3. Why do you think M&E has remained relevant to preservation breeders and dog show exhibitors in the 21st century?

Christine Calcinari: The tradition is enjoyed by all. The huge effort made for Specialties and Supported Entries to be held as part of M&E have made majors for many breeds, making it a spectacle, for sure.
