The Exciting Journey of ‘The Beast’ – GCHS Impeccable’s Odysseus The Faithful CGCA – A Celebration of Achievement and Legacy

The Beast,” also known as Impeccable’s Odysseus The Faithful, is lovingly owned by Dustin Rhodes and Ta-Rel Roche-Runnels, professionally handled by Terry Smith, and bred by Kimberly Harac-Heruth. The anticipation and excitement began the moment we received the coveted invitation to The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York City. From that point on, the entire journey has been nothing short of a whirlwind.

Upon our arrival in New York, we were greeted by a fanfare of admirers on the streets, all eager to take pictures with Beast. Our hotel, which overlooked Madison Square Garden, provided Beast with his very own patio. Thank you to the fabulous staff at The New Yorker hotel, who graciously upgraded his space.

The buzz in the city was electrifying, as everyone looked forward to the big day. Beast thoroughly enjoyed strolling through the streets of New York and visiting The Javits Center. Adding to our excitement was the Rhodes Family Legacy, as Beast would be the third generation of Rhodes to perform at Madison Square Garden, following in the footsteps of his human dad, Dustin, Dustin’s brother, Cody, and Dustin and Cody’s father, Dusty Rhodes. Beast took Best of Breed at Westminster and made the first cut in a very competitive Working Group.

This is the first show dog for Dustin and Ta-Rel, and what a journey it has been. Beast made his professional debut about eight months ago and has taken the show ring by storm, much like his human dad. The day of the big show was a blur of cheers and adrenaline for everyone on Team Beast. We are immensely grateful for the love and care Terry Smith has shown Beast; their dynamic relationship in and out of the ring is evident in every performance.

The future is bright for this young dog, and we want to thank all our family and fans who have continuously cheered and supported Beast in his show career. Their unwavering encouragement has been invaluable on this incredible journey.
