Meegan Pierotti-Tietje is a lifelong dog show enthusiast, breeder, and owner-handler who grew up alongside litters of Golden Retrievers and was often found prepping dogs for show or serving as “bucket” ringside. Today, she shows and breeds Ibizan Hounds under the Heron and Hound prefix, focusing on wire-coated Ibizans. Heron and Hound is home to many top dogs, National Specialty winners, and versatile Performance dogs. Meegan brings decades of hands-on experience in the sport—and a background in behavioral psychology—to her role at SHOWSIGHT Magazine, where she serves as Client Relationship Manager. Meegan balances her artistic spirit with a no-nonsense approach to client service. Having a deep respect for the sport’s traditions, she brings a thoughtful, strategic mindset to every ad campaign. Her clients know they can count on her for honesty, creativity, and tireless support—whether they’re newcomers or seasoned professionals. Above all, she believes ethical breeding, sportsmanship, and connection are the foundations of success in dogs. Rooted in a closeknit circle of family and friends, Meegan lives in North Carolina with her husband, two young children, a pack of Ibizans—and a few wayward chickens who refuse to stay in their coop.
